What to expect
After submitting your information on the tryout form above, here is what you can expect to happen next...
AFTER THE TRYOUT
After the session, the coach will do their best to meet with the player and family in person to share feedback and the club’s decision. Occasionally, a player may be asked to return for another session to be evaluated further before a final decision is made. If meeting in person is not possible, the coach or the admin staff will reach out to the family via email.

If the player is offered a spot on the team, the admin staff and the coach will inform the family. An offer letter will be sent via email containing all the team info, training schedule, fee info, and registration link to sign up for the team. A separate email will be sent with all the gear information.
BEFORE THE TRYOUT

If you haven’t already done so, please fill out and submit the tryout form above. Here are links for the current WCP boys and girls teams to see which teams and age groups we offer.
After submitting the form, you will receive an email from the WCP admin staff with tryout information and tryout date options to select from. Players trying out will attend a team's regular training session to get an accurate feel for the environment and for the coach to evaluate the player in that same environment.
TRYOUT DAY
The coach will be informed beforehand that a player will be coming to a session to tryout so please arrive 20 minutes early to find the field and introduce yourself to the coach.

Wear athletic gear (dress in layers and warm clothing for winter months)

Wear proper footwear (cleats or turfs for outdoor sessions/flat shoes for indoor sessions)

Bring a ball and plenty of water
If you cannot readily find the coach, ask any player in a blue training top and grey shorts. They should be able to point you in the right direction. Contact Suzanne at (240)-678-9768 if you still need assistance after asking a current player.
